Unipolar Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Unipolar", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through www.unipolar.in, why we collect it, how long we keep it and the choices you have. It is written to align with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, for visitors from the EU and UK, the GDPR.
1. Data we collect
- Enquiries and quote requests: your name, work email, phone number, company, designation, country and city, the products or services you are interested in and anything you write in your message.
- Job applications: your name, contact details, the role you apply for, your CV or profile link and your message.
- Usage data: pages visited, referring page, campaign parameters (UTM), approximate location, browser and device information, collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
2. Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and deliver the products and services you ask for.
- To assess job applications.
- To understand how the website is used and improve it.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We process enquiry data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form, and to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with people and services that help us run our business — for example our hosting provider, email and analytics services, and, when you ask us for a quote, the manufacturer or distributor needed to fulfil it (such as Dell or Cisco). Each is bound to protect your data.
4. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry and customer records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal obligations — typically up to eight years for records linked to invoices. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months unless you join us.
5. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent or raise a grievance. Write to contact@unipolar.in with the subject line "Privacy request". We respond within 30 days.
6. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and audit logs to protect your data. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work hard to protect what you share with us.
